Abstract
Efficient oxidation of a variety of structurally diverse acetals, including open-chain acetals, 1,3-dioxanes, 1,3-dioxalanes, with molecular oxygen using catalytic amounts of N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI) in the presence of Co(OAc)2 as co-catalyst was investigated. Key words
