Abstract
A modified U-4CR reaction has been done by using commercially available 2-nitrobenzylamine as an ammonia equivalent and it involves a multi-component reaction, followed by photochemical cleavage of the 2-nitrobenzyl group, which can be done in one pot with good yields. Key words
