We do fully agree that in cases where laparoscopic myomectomy is technically possible and feasible without significant risk for the patient this treatment should be deployed.

The intention of our article was to present a series where uterus preservation is possible beyond the limit of laparoscopic myomectomy like in our group of patients with a mean diameter of the largest fibroid of 12.5 cm which were often deep intramurally located with contact to the uterine cavum.

Uterine sizes were also exceeding the size of 28 weeks far beyond the umbilicus which was the major exclusion criteria in the group reported by Mallick et al.
