Abstract

X-ray is the gold standard of fracture imaging. With various projections different tasks can be achieved: surgery planning, intraoperative control, follow-up and function-tests. In this section the most common x-ray projections are described including indications and technical settings. Also, sectional image techniques (CT, MRI) are reviewed.
