Im Jahr 2018 starben in Deutschland 3275 Menschen im Straßenverkehr, jedoch 9396 Personen durch Suizid [1]. Dieser Artikel soll ein allgemeines Herangehen an das Meldebild des Suizids durch Medikamente oder Gifte schildern, die im Rettungsdienst verfügbaren medikamentösen Therapien erläutern und ausgewählte Vergiftungen darstellen.
