Lösungsmöglichkeiten bei fehlgeschlagenen Osteosynthesen – Ellenbogen

Zusammenfassung

Revisionsoperationen am Ellenbogen gestalten sich aufgrund der hochgradig kongruenten Gelenkpartner sowie der komplexen ligamentären Führung schwierig. Neben biomechanischen Gründen für ein Osteosyntheseversagen wie instabile Frakturversorgungen oder eine falsch rekonstruierte Anatomie können insbesondere ligamentäre Begleitverletzungen, wenn übersehen, eine Revision notwendig machen. Ziel muss die stabile Osteosynthese mit anatomischer Reposition sein. Neben osteosynthetischen Möglichkeiten ist bei frustranen Befunden die endoprothetische Versorgung möglich.

Abstract

Revising failed osteosynthesis at the elbow joint can often be difficult given the highly congruent anatomy of the joints and the ligamentous structures. In addition to biomechanical reasons or a malaligned reconstruction of the anatomy for an osteosynthesis at the elbow to fail are often ligamentous injuries, which can be missed. The aim should be to achieve a stable osteosynthesis with an anatomic reduction. After unsuccessful reconstructive surgery, joint replacements can be employed.
