Die Versorgung mit Orthesen hat in der konservativen orthopädischen
Therapie ihren festen Stellenwert. Für Erkrankungen der
Wirbelsäule gilt, dass der Patient je nach Indikation in seiner
Bewegungsausführung beeinflusst werden soll. So werden Rumpforthesen mit
dem Ziel der Funktionsunterstützung, der Stabilisation oder der
Korrektur für die Wirbelsäule verordnet. Zusätzlich
ergibt sich aus der gezielten Materialwahl und Anwendung der unterschiedlichen
biomechanischen Wirkprinzipien eine große Variationsbreite an
Rumpforthesen, die in diesem Artikel besprochen werden.
Abstract
The supply of orthoses has its firm position in the conservative orthopedic
therapy. For diseases of the spine, the patient should be treated according to
the indication in his movement execution. Thus, torso orthoses are prescribed
with the aim of functional support, stabilization or correction for the
spine.
In addition, the targeted selection of materials and the application of the
different biomechanical principles of action result in a wide variety of trunk
orthoses, which are discussed in this article.
