Clothilde Miaglia et al. Safe and effective digestive endoscopic resection in patients with cirrhosis: a single-center experience

Study evaluating 126 patients with various severity of cirrhosis who underwent endoscopic resection for early gastrointestinal neoplasia. The curative resection rate was 84 % and 6 % developed complications. Duodenal endoscopic resection, antiplatelet use, and low glomerular filtration rate were risk factors for delayed bleeding. Although endoscopic resection in patients with cirrhosis seems feasible and safe, high risk duodenal resection should probably be avoided.
