Zusammenfassung
Für den Umgang mit hilfsbedürftigen Menschen in Medizin und
Pflege ist das Gespräch das Zentrale, denn mag das Gespräch auch
nicht lebensrettend sein, so bleibt es gleichwohl überlebensnotwendig.
Das Gespräch ist in sich wertvoll, trägt in sich einen Wert,
weil das Gespräch selbst spricht. Allein dass man mit jemandem spricht,
bringt man das Eigentliche schon zum Ausdruck, nämlich dass der andere
Bedeutung hat. Weil das Gespräch Vermittlung und Ausdruck zugleich ist,
wird auch erklärbar, warum gerade das Gespräch Wirklichkeit
verändert, und dies oft in einem nachhaltigeren und tieferen Sinn, als
es ein Medikament je könnte.
Abstract
When dealing with people in need of help in medicine and nursing, the
conversation is the key, because even if the conversation is not life-saving, it
is still essential for survival. The conversation is valuable itself, carries a
value in itself because the conversation speaks itself. The mere fact that you
speak to someone expresses the real thing, namely that the other person has
meaning. Because the conversation is mediation and expression at the same time,
it can also be explained why the conversation changes reality, and often in a
more sustainable and deeper sense than a drug could ever do.
