Perioperative Schmerztherapie – was kann/sollte der Operateur beachten?

Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Artikel zeigt die Möglichkeiten des Operateurs bei der perioperativen Schmerztherapie auf. Besonderen Wert gelegt wird hierbei auf die Verwendung von intraoperativ gelegten Nervenblöcken (Fußblock, Supraskapularisblock) sowie die lokale Infiltrations-Anästhesie (LIA). Besonders zu beachten ist die Funktion des postoperativen Schmerzes als Warnfunktion, welcher auf klinisch relevante Komplikationen hindeutet (Kompartment-Syndrom, Ischämie etc.).

Summary

The present article demonstrates the possibilities of the surgeon in the field of perioperative pain management. Specially mentioned are the intraoperative nerve blocks (foot block, suprascapularis block) as well as local infiltration anesthesia (LIA). The warning function of postoperative pain always needs to be considered, because this often leads to clinically relevant complications (compartment syndrome, ischemia).
