Fumio Omata et al. Noneffectiveness of scopolamine for facilitating detection of upper gastrointestinal neoplasia during screening esophagogastroduodenoscopy: propensity score-matched study

This propensity score-matched study from Japan in over 40 000 patients evaluated whether scopolamine facilitates detection of gastric cancer in the screening setting. Scopolamine use did not result in increased detection of gastric cancer cases during screening upper endoscopy.
