Rationaler Umgang mit akuten Kreuzschmerzen

Das Thema „Rücken“ ist in der täglichen Praxis ein Dauerbrenner. Dabei gibt es eine auffallende Diskrepanz zwischen praktiziertem ärztlichen Handeln und evidenzbasiertem Wissen. Diese kognitive Dissonanz zwischen ärztlichem Wissen und Tun kann nach Ansicht internationaler und nationaler Leitlinien und Autoren zu negativen Folgen für Patienten, Ärzte und das betreffende Gesundheitssystem führen. Ein Schließen dieser Lücke kann als aktiver Beitrag zum Patientenschutz sowie vor Unter- und Überversorgung angesehen werden.
