Zahnfarbene Werkstoffe für festsitzenden Zahnersatz und ihre Funktion – was wissen wir?

Dank der kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung im Bereich der zahnärztlichen Materialien stehen uns heute verschiedenste zahnfarbene Werkstoffe zur Verfügung, die dem Wunsch nach ästhetischen und biokompatiblen festsitzenden zahnärztlichen Versorgungen in besonderem Maße gerecht werden. Mit dem vorliegenden Artikel sollen die verschiedenen, sich gegenwärtig auf dem Markt befindenden zahnfarbenen Werkstoffe genauer beleuchtet, ihre Indikationsfelder aufgezeigt sowie ein Ausblick auf Möglichkeiten und Grenzen dargelegt werden.
