Zusammenfassung
Rettungswagen und Notarzteinsatzfahrzeug werden zu einer Reanimationssituation alarmiert,
bei der es zum Versterben eines männlichen Patienten kommt. Dieser hat zuvor über
unspezifische
grippale Symptomatik und ausgeprägte Diarrhöen geklagt sowie febrile Temperaturen
entwickelt. Gemeinsam mit der Ehefrau befand er sich zuvor auf einer Reise in Togo.
Aufgrund von ähnlichen
Symptomen kommt es am Folgetag zu einem Einsatz bei der Ehefrau, wodurch zunächst
der Verdacht auf eine High Consequence infectious Disease (HCID) bestand, im Verlauf
jedoch eine Malaria
wahrscheinlich erschien. Unter Einbeziehung von öffentlichem Gesundheitsdienst und
einer Schwerpunktklinik wurde die Transportstrategie festgelegt. Während des stationären
Aufenthaltes wurde
eine Malaria tropica diagnostiziert, eine Prophylaxe erfolgte vor Reiseantritt nicht.
Abstract
Ambulance and emergency-physician car are alerted to a resuscitation situation in
which a male patient dies. He had previously complained of unspecific flu symptoms
and pronounced diarrhea,
as well as developing febrile temperatures. He was previously on a trip to Togo with
his wife. Due to similar symptoms, the wife was deployed on the following day, which
initially led to the
suspicion of high consequence infectious disease (HCID), but later malaria appeared
likely. The transport strategy was determined with the involvement of the public health
service and a
specialist clinic. During the inpatient stay, a malaria tropica was diagnosed, no
prophylaxis was given before the start of the trip.
