Die feline idiopathische Hyperkalzämie ist eine chronische Erkrankung, die eine lebenslange Therapie erfordert. Dieser Artikel beschäftigt sich mit der Pathophysiologie, den Differenzialdiagnosen sowie der diagnostischen Aufarbeitung einer Hyperkalzämie. Die verschiedenen therapeutischen Ansätze werden nach dem aktuellen Stand der Literatur diskutiert.
