Der femoro-popliteale Bypass hat seinen festen Stellenwert in der Gefäßchirurgie. Mit ihm können Gefäße vom Oberschenkel bis zum Knie überbrückt werden, daher eignet er sich zur Behandlung der peripheren arteriellen Verschlusskrankheit.
