Lungenkarzinom

Auf dem 14. Jahreskongress des Tumorzentrums München beschäftigte sich ein Symposium mit einer Bestandsaufnahme zur Therapie in der thorakalen Onkologie. Priv.-Doz. Dr. Thomas Duell, Gauting, wies darauf hin, vor 20 Jahren nur ein Drittel der Patienten mit fortgeschrittenem nicht-kleinzelligem Lungenkarzinom (NSCLC) nach einer Therapie mit Platindoubletten noch für mindestens 1 Jahr überlebten – heute sind es 80 % und mehr.
