Ist eine tödliche Anaphylaxie auf ein Kortikosteroid möglich?

Die folgende Übersichtsarbeit zeigt, dass es für die primäre Behandlung einer Anaphylaxie Grad 3 mit Kortikosteroiden keinerlei Evidenz gibt. Kortikosteroide bewirken weder eine sofortige Linderung der Obstruktion der oberen oder unteren Atemwege noch eine rasche Vasokonstriktion gegen den schweren relativen hypovolämischen Schock noch eine Prophylaxe gegen eine biphasische Anaphylaxie. In Einzelfällen kann die Zweitbehandlung nach einer Adrenalinbehandlung erwogen werden.
