Zusammenfassung
„Medical Humanities“ steht für eine „humane“ Humanmedizin, vereint
Naturwissenschaften mit Geisteswissenschaften, Künsten und Leben oder
Objektivität der Krankheit mit der Subjektivität des Kranken, vertritt eine
entsprechende Arzt-Patienten-Beziehung, relativiert die Identifizierung von
Krankheit als negativ und Gesundheit als positiv und greift vor allem im
sozialkulturellen Kontext und mit einer Fülle von Erfahrungen und Beispielen aus
Vergangenheit und Gegenwart Therapie als Kunst und Kunst als Therapie auf.
Summary
„Medical Humanities“ stands for a „humane“ human medicine, unites the natural
sciences with the philosophical, psychical and social sciences, the arts and
life or the objectivity of the illness with the subjectivity of the patient,
represents a corresponding doctor-patient relationship, relativises the
identification of illness as negative and health as positive and, above all,
realizes therapy as art and art as therapy in a socio-cultural context and with
a wealth of experiences and examples from the past and present.
