Robotic systems may facilitate resection of neoplastic lesions. This is the first study to examine robotic endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) in the colon. Among 43 patients, the rates of technical success and en bloc resection were 86% and 95%, respectively, with a procedure time of 91 minutes. Further studies are needed to compare these results with conventional ESD to understand the potential benefits of such techniques.
