Zusammenfassung
Beschrieben wird die Krankengeschichte eines Jungen (7 Jahre, homöopathische
Behandlung über 6 Jahre) mit therapieresistenter fokaler Epilepsie (bis zu 50
Anfälle/Tag) bei linksfrontaler zerebraler Malformation. Vorübergehende,
hochdosierte allopathische antiepileptische Therapie, dann Indikation zur
Hemisphärektomie, was allerdings Sprachstörungen, eine Hemiparese und eine
Hemianopsie zur Folge gehabt hätte. Unter homöopathischer Therapie rasche
Anfallsfreiheit, keine Operationsindikation mehr, gute, situationsentsprechende
Entwicklung des Kindes, seit 4 Jahren keine Antiepileptika mehr erforderlich.
Das letzte EEG altersentsprechend normal.
Summary
The medical history of a boy (7 years old, homeopathic treatment for 6 years)
with therapy-resistant focal epilepsy (up to 50 seizures/day) with a left
frontal cerebral malformation is described. Temporary, high-dose allopathic
antiepileptic therapy, then indication for hemispherectomy, which would have
resulted in speech disorders, hemiparesis and hemianopia. With homeopathic
therapy, seizures were quickly cured, no longer indicated for surgery, good,
situation-appropriate development of the child, no antiepileptic drugs required
for 4 years. The last EEG was normal for his age.
