Zusammenfassung
Mit der zunehmenden Prävalenz von Tätowierungen nehmen auch die damit assoziierten
Nebenwirkungen zu. Pseudoepitheliomatöse Hyperplasien sind benigne, reaktive Proliferationen,
welche mit einer Hyperplasie der Epidermis und des Adnexepithels einhergehen. Bei
einem 61-jährigen Patienten kam es mehrere Wochen nach Stechen einer großflächigen
farbigen Tätowierung am linken Unterarm, betont innerhalb der Areale mit rotem Pigment,
zur simultanen Ausbildung von größenprogredienten, multilokulären, hyperkeratotischen
Plaques. Nach histologischer Sicherung und klinisch-pathologischer Korrelation konnte
die Diagnose von pseudoepitheliomatösen Hyperplasien gestellt werden.
Abstract
With the increasing prevalence of tattoos, the number of associated side effects are
also increasing. Pseudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia is a benign, reactive proliferation
associated with hyperplasia of epidermis and adnex epithelium. In a 61-year-old patient,
several weeks after an extensive colored tattoo was applied to the left forearm, multiple
slowly growing hyperkeratotic plaques occurred within the areas of red pigment. The
diagnosis of pseudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia was successfully made after histological
confirmation and cinical-pathological correlation.
