Tierschutzrechtliche Aspekte bei der Farbzucht von Pferden

Die Fellfarbe von Pferden ist genetisch festgelegt und einige erblich bedingte Krankheiten sind an einzelne Fellfarben gekoppelt. So sind z. B. silber-/windfarbene Pferde von Augenanomalien betroffen, während reinerbige Helmschecken taub sein können.
