Significance

Rare-earth metal half-sandwich complexes bearing a silylene-linked Cp-amido-ligand have been found to serve as efficient catalysts for the catalytic cross-coupling between ­terminal alkynes and alkyl isocyanides to form 1-aza-1,3-enynes in unprecedented Z-selectivity.
