Abstract
The increasing prevalence of adiposity also makes this topic still more important
to the fertility treatment or the support of pregnancy. The General Practitioner (GP)
and the gynaecologist should therefore prepare for care overweight or adipose patients
and the unusual features accompanying with that on time. Particularly in connection
with the advice of patients with child's wish it is important to have some medical
facts for the consultation readily. This paper conveys a practice oriented summary
of the problem „to adiposity and pregnancy” from the view of the gynaecologist.
