Abstract

cAMP accumulation and pseudopod formation have been studied in dog thyroid slices stimulated by thyrotropin. It is shown that the kinetics and concentration effect relationship support the validity of Sutherland's model of hormone action through cAMP for thyrotropin and thyroid secretion.
