Abstract
By combination of Chromatographie and spectroscopic methods it was possible to isolate
33 constituents of the essential oil from the grass Elyonurus viridulus Hackel; 22 of these compounds could be characterized. The main components are Citral a and
Citral b which make up more than 84 % of the total oil. The occurence of other chemical
races of these species is discussed, which show typical differences in their oil composition.
Zusammenfassung
Durch Kombination chromatographischer und spektroskopischer Methoden konnten aus dem
ätherischen Öl der Graminee Elyonurus viridulus Hackel 33 Komponenten isoliert werden, von denen 22 identifiziert wurden. Mit über 84 % stellen
Citral a und b die Hauptkomponenten dar. Es wird über das Vorkommen anderer chemischer
Rassen dieser Species berichtet, die in ihrer Ölzusammensetzung typische Differenzen
zeigen.
