Summary
Usually a fibercolonoscope is operated with the help of fluoroscopy to facilitate
the insertion. It is widely known that X-rays damage more or less the glass-fibers.
After experiences of about 300 cases of colonoscopy we have gained confidence to insert
the colonoscope without the help of fluoroscopy. We now carry out the colonoscopy
on the ordinary endoscope table which is not equipped with X-ray apparatus. The ileocecal
area was observed in about 80 per cent among 35 cases in which the scope was inserted
without the help of fluoroscopy.
Zusammenfassung
Im allgemeinen wird die Einführung des Fiberkoloskops mit Hilfe der Röntgendurchleuchtungs-
kontrolle erleichtert. Röntgenstrahlen schädigen aber die Glasfibern. Nachdem wir
Erfahrungen bei etwa 300 Koloskopien sammeln konnten, sind wir jetzt in der Lage,
das Koloskop ohne Röntgenkontrolle einzuführen. Wir koloskopieren nunmehr auf einem
gewöhnlichen Endoskopietisch ohne Röntgengerät. Die Ileozökalregion konnte in etwa
80% bei 35 Fällen, bei denen das Koloskop ohne Röntgenkontrolle eingeführt wurde,
gesehen werden.
