Laparoscopic Findings in Generalized Neurofibromatosis
Laparoskopischer Befund bei generalisierter Neurofibromatose (v. Recklinghausen)Publication History
Publication Date:
08 December 2008 (online)
Summary
A 64-year-old woman with neurofibromatosis (von Recklinghausen's disease) underwent laparoscopy because of biliary obstruction. A number of subserous neurogenic tumours was seen on the wall of the stomach and a biopsy was taken. Emphasis is laid on the tendency of subserous neuromas to simulate metastases. Histological examination is essential if errors are to be avoided.
