Aorto-pulmonale Fistel nach Thoraxschußverletzung mit Embolie des Geschosses

Zusammenfassung

Bei einem 5jährigen Knaben kam es nach einer Thoraxschußverletzung mit einem Luftdruckgewehr zu einer traumatischen aorto-pulmonalen Fistel und zu einer Embolie des Geschosses in die rechte Arteria femoralis superficialis. Nach 2œ Jahren konnte die Fistel im extrakorporalen Kreislauf verschlossen und das Geschoß aus der Arterie entfernt werden.

Es ist dies der 4. bisher erfolgreich behandelte Fall einer traumatischen aorto-pulmonalen Fistel in der Literatur und der 2. Fall mit gleichzeitig aufgetretener Embolie des Geschosses.

Summary

An air rifle wound of the chest in a 5 year old boy produced an aorticopulmonary fistula and the bullet embolized to the right superficial femoral artery. The fistula was closed 2œ year later in extracorporal circulation and the bullet was removed with reconstruction of the artery.

In the reports reviewed, this is the fourth case of successfully treated traumatic aorticopulmonary fistula and the second repont of a case presenting both embolism and aorticopulmonary fistula formation.
