Summary
Detailed phytochemical investigation of the chloroform–ethyl acetate ext. of Helichrysum ltalicum (G. Don) revealed the presence of α–amyrin, uvaol and ursolic acid lactone as well
as ursolic acid.
This is the first time that ursolic acid lactone has ever been found in nature.

Die phytochemische Untersuchung eines Extraktes aus Helychrysum italicum ergab das Vorhandensein von α–Amyrin, Uvaol, Ursolsäure und Ursolsäurelacton. Letztere
wurde zum erstenmal in der Natur gefunden.
