Summary

The alkaloids rhynchophylline, isorhynchophylline and a third unnamed alkaloid have been isolated from the leaves of Mitragyna rotundifolia. No rotundifoline or mitragynol (isorotundifoline) reported to be present in these leaves by previous workers could be found.

Zusammenfassung

Aus den Blättern von Mitragyna rotundifolia wurden die Alkaloide Rhynchophyllin, Isorhynchophyllin und ein drittes, noch nicht benanntes Alkaloid isoliert. Die von früheren Autoren in diesen Blättern gefundenen Rotundifolin oder Mitragynol (Isorotundifolin) konnten nicht nachgewiesen werden.
