Summary
A strain of Streptomyces netropsin isolated from soil of the botanical garden of Jena was shown to produce netropsin and two new antibiotics of polyenic nature (2814–P; 2841–H). Furthermore a red pigment and aureothin were isolated from submersed cultures of the strain investigated.
