Zusammenfassung

Durch den Nachweis einer neuen Salmonella-Species konnte die Ursache eines schweren enteritischen Krankheitsbildes geklärt werden. Der Keim mit seiner globalen Antigenformel 1, 4, 12:z:e, n, z15 wurde in das Supplement Nr. XIV zum Kauffmann-White-Schema aufgenommen. Der Name wurde nach einem Ortsteil des Fundortes gewählt, da die geographische Herkunft des Stammes nicht zu ermitteln war.

Summary

The cause of a severe enteritic infection was determined by the demonstration of a new species of Salmonella. The organism with a global antigen formula 1, 4, 12 : z : e, n, z15 has been added to supplement no. XIV of the Kauffmann-White classification. It was named after an adjoining region to the place of demonstration as the geographic origin of the species could not be determined.
