Erkennung schwer diagnostizierbarer bösartiger Geschwülste mit der ⁶⁷Gallium-Szintigraphie

Zusammenfassung

Durch Markierung bösartiger Geschwülste mit einer Strahlenquelle wie ⁶⁷Gallium-citrat gelingen der Nachweis sowie die Feststellung von Lokalisation und Ausdehnung selbst schwer diagnostizierbarer Tumoren. Von insgesamt 63 Patienten, bei denen Verdacht auf Krebs bestand, konnte präoperativ bei 57 Fällen die Geschwulst richtig charakterisiert werden.

By labeling a malignant tumour with a radiation source such as ⁶⁷gallium citrate it is possible to demonstrate localisation and extent of tumours which are otherwise difficult to diagnose. In 63 patients suspected of having cancer the correct diagnosis was made by this method pre-operatively in 57.

Reconocimiento de los tumores malignos difíciles de diagnosticar con la escintigrafía con galio⁶⁷

Marcando los tumores malignos con una fuente de radiación como el citrato de galio⁶⁷ se logró comprobar y diagnosticar la localización y extensión incluso de tumores difíciles de diagnosticar. En 57 de un total de 63 pacientes sospechosos de cáncer pudo caracterizarse correctamente el tumor antes de la operación.
