Zusammenfassung
Auf Grund zweier Fälle von thyreotoxischer Myopathie wird darauf hingewiesen, daß
die Myopathie zeitweise im Vordergrund der Symptomatik dieses relativ selten beschriebenen
Krankheitsbildes stehen kann und keine Korrelation zwischen der Schwere der Hyperthyreose
und der Muskelerkrankung besteht. Bei unklaren Gangstörungen sollte man stets eine
Hyperthyreose ausschließen.
Summary
Two cases of thyrotoxic myopathy are reported: signs of myopathy are occasionally
in the foreground of clinical picture in this relatively rare condition. There is
no correlation between the severity of hyperthyroidism and that of the myopathy. In
disturbances of gait of unknown cause the possible presence of hyperthyroidism should
always be excluded.

Miopatía tirotóxica
A base de dos casos de miopatia tirotóxica se señala, que la miopatia puede estar
transitoriamente en primer término de la sintomatología de este cuadro clínico descrito,
relativamente raro, y que no hay ninguna correlación entre la gravedad del hipertiroidismo
y la enfermedad muscular. En trostornos de la marcha no claros se debería excluir
siempre un hipertiroidismo.
