Zusammenfassung
Beschreibung eines Instrumentes zur Elektrokonisation der Portio. Durch leicht auswechselbare
Schneidedrahtbügel kann die Größe des Konisationskegels variiert und der jeweiligen
Form der Portio angepaßt werden. Hierbei wird nicht nur der gesamte veränderte Bezirk
zirkulär um den Muttermund, sondern auch ein Teil des Halskanals mit erfaßt, so daß
für eine sichere histologische Diagnostik genügend Gewebsmaterial vorhanden ist. Durch
die elektrische Entnahme wird das Gewebe gleichzeitig verschorft und werden stärkere
Blutungen vermieden. Die Konisation der Portio ist nicht nur eine diagnostische, sondern
bei gutartigen Schleimhautveränderungen gleichzeitig auch therapeutische Maßnahme.
Summary
A new instrument is described for removing a circular cone of cervical tissue by electro-cautery.
By using one of a series of differently shaped cutting wires, the size of the excised
cone can be varied in accordance with the particular shape of the cervix. By removing
the tissue around the cervical os, and of part of the cervical canal, enough representative
tissue is obtained to ensure reliable histological examination. Simultaneous cauterization
prevents all but minor bleeding. In cases of benign mucosal changes this method is
of both diagnostic and therapeutic value.

Electroconización de la porción vaginal
Se describe un instrumento para la electroconización de la porción vaginal. Gracias
a arcos de alambre cortante fácilmente recambiables cabe variar la dimensión del cono
de conización, adaptándola a la forma singular de la porción vaginal. De esta manera
se capta no sólo toda la región alterada alrededor del orificio uterino, sino también
parte del conducto del cuello, de modo que existe suficiente material tisular para
un diagnóstico histológicamente seguro. En virtud de la toma eléctrica se cauteriza
al mismo tiempo el tejido, evitándose hemorragias más fuertes. La conización de la
porción vaginal es no sólo una medida propia del diagnóstico, sino que al mismo tiempo
tiene también valor terapéutico en las alteraciones benignas de la mucosa.
