Es wird über die Herstellung eines neuen stabilen Antigens für die Komplementbindungsreaktion zur Diagnostik der interstitiellen plasmazellulären Pneumonie junger Säuglinge und Frühgeburten berichtet. Frühere Mängel dieser Methode der serologischen Diagnostik beruhten im wesentlichen darauf, daß die Stabilität des bisher verwendeten Antigens nicht allen Anforderungen genügte.

Summary

A method is described in detail for the preparation of a stable antigen for a complement fixation test in the diagnosis of interstitial pneumonia in premature and young infants. It is pointed out that earlier disadvantages of this method of serological diagnosis were due largely to the lack of satisfactory stability of previously used antigens. This antigen, on the other hand, had been kept without loss of titre strength for two months at the time of writing this report.

El autor trata de la preparación de un nuevo antígeno estable para la reacción de desviación de complemento para el diagnóstico de la neumonia intersticial de células plasmáticas de los recién nacidos y prematuros. Las imperfecciones que se venían observando en este método de diagnóstico serológico consisten esencialmente en que la estabilidad del antígeno hasta ahora empleado no respondía a todas las exigencias.
