Östrogene: Einsatz in der Hormonersatztherapie

Zusammenfassung

Sowohl die kombinierte HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) mit Östrogen und Gestagen als auch die Monotherapie mit Östrogen werden zur Therapie klimakterischer und urogenitaler Beschwerden sowie zur Prävention von Osteoporose eingesetzt. Drei umfassende Studien zeigen den Nutzen, aber auch Risiken einer Langzeitbehandlung mit diesen Hormonen.
