Deutlich wird dies besonders bei der Behandlung von Frühgeborenen, also Kindern, die eigentlich noch im Bauch der Mutter sein sollten. Sind sie an der Beatmungsmaschine angeschlossen, kommt zum biologischen Rhythmus noch der starre maschinelle Rhythmus hinzu. Jetzt brauchen sie noch mehr den schützenden Rhythmus der Mutter in ihrer Nähe. Die Effizienz einer osteopathischen Behandlung verbessert sich dann.

Then, the efficiency of an osteopathic treatment improves.

L'interaction entre la mère et le bébé joue un rôle important lors du traitement ostéopathique. Cela est fortement ressenti pour le traitement des prématurés, des enfants donc qui devraient en fait être encore dans le ventre de leur mère. S'ils sont encore sous respiration artificielle, le rythme rigide mécanique vient s'ajouter au rythme biologique. Ils ont besoin à présent encore plus du rythme protecteur de leur mère tout près d'eux. L'efficacité d'un traitement ostéopathique s'améliore alors.
