Significance

Both trichodermamides A and B were isolated from the marine-derived fungus Trichoderma virens. Trichodermamide B possesses cytotoxic activity with an IC₅₀ of 0.32 µg/mL against HCT-116 colon carcinoma. The molecule contains a rare oxazine ring system.
