Untersuchungen zur Frage des Strömungsverhaltens in der Arteria femoralis mittels Schnellserienangiographie und synchroner Pulswellenregistrierung

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über eine Methode berichtet, die durch synchrone Registrierung von Pulsvolumenkurve und Strömungsbild im Serienangiogramm eine Kontrolle bezüglich der Korrelierbarkeit pulsphasenabhängiger Strömungsphänomene und tatsächlichen Gefäßwandbewegungen gestattet. Die Ergebnisse dieser Untersuchung an der A. femoralis bestätigen die bisherige Interpretation der Strömungsphänomene im Einstrom- und Abstromangiogramm als von der Gefäßwandbewegung abhängige Erscheinungen. Es wird auf den prognostischen Informationswert der angiographisch erfaßbaren Strömungsverhältnisse für die Gefäßprothetik hingewiesen.

Summary

A method is described which allows one to correlate pulsephase dependant streaming and movement of the vessel wall by means of synchronous registration of pulse volume curves and the appearance of streaming as shown by serial angiograms. The results of this investigation in the femoral artery confirm the accepted view that the appearance of streaming depends on the movements of the vessel wall. The prognostic value for vessel reconstruction is discussed.
