Parodontitis und parodontale Therapien ziehen in vielen Fällen Gewebsverluste nach
sich. Dies kann sich negativ auf das ästhetische Gesamtbild auswirken. Hierbei sind
insbesondere fehlende Interdentalpapillen für viele Patienten das größte Problem.
Der folgende Artikel versucht, Methoden herauszuarbeiten, die nach erfolgter Parodontaltherapie
in der Lage sind, ästhetische Gesichtspunkte zu verbessern.
Periodontitis and periodontal therapy are often succeeded by tissue loss resulting
in unesthetic gingival contours. In particular missing interproximal structures can
jeopardize the overall esthetic appearance. The following article critically describes
methods to solve esthetic concerns after successful periodontal treatments.
