Summary

Many contemporary homeopaths are convinced that one of the most important differences between homeopathy and allopathy is that in homeopathy remedies are tested on healthy people whereas “school medicine” or allopathy tests on sick people. With modern allopathy this is no longer exclusively so. It is mostly the focus of the conductor of the proving that makes the important difference between homeopathy and allopathy when it comes to studying possible healing agents.

1 Not to be mistaken with the so-called “false symptoms” (cfr. § 77) which occur under the influence of an “obstacle to cure” which is recognizable by the observation that as soon as one eliminates this obstacle(s), the symptom(s) will spontaneously disappear).
