Zusammenfassung
Das gesamte Gesundheitswesen folgt immer mehr den Kategorien des Marktes. Damit werden
den Heilberufen Denksysteme übergestülpt, die ihrem Grundansatz, einen helfenden Dienst
am Menschen zu verrichten, diametral entgegenstehen. Allen voran sind es die Tendenzen
zur Standardisierung und zur Modularisierung, zugleich aber auch der implizite Glaube
an die Machbarkeit und Berechenbarkeit und damit die Ausblendung all der Kategorien,
die sich nicht in ein messbares und prozessuales Symstem pressen lassen. Ein solches
Denken ist in ethischer Hinsicht kritikwürdig, weil mit der Übernahme dieser Denkkategorien
der Kern dessen ausgehöhlt wird, worauf es in der Heilkunde wirklich ankommt: nämlich
die Kultur der authentischen Sorge um den anderen. Daher wird dafür plädiert, sich
von dem mechanistisch-prozessualen Denken der Ökonomie und Naturwissenschaft zu lösen
und nicht zuletzt eine heilende Kultur der Sorge neu zu beleben.
Abstract
The whole health system more and more becomes orientated towards the categories of
the market. As a result, the healing profession is confronted with systems of thought,
which are diametrically opposed to the basic approach of the healing profession, to
perform an understanding service for the people. First and foremost there are tendencies
towards a standardization and modularization as well as the implicit belief in feasibility
and calculability and therefore to fade out all the categories, which cannot be forced
into a measurable and processual system. Such thinking must be criticized from the
ethical point of view, because with the adoption of these thinking categories, the
most important aspect of medicine is undermined, i. e. the culture of authentic concern
about others. Therefore we should completely free ourselves of the mechanistic and
processual thinking of economy and science, and revive the central idea of a force
of understanding.
