Forschungszyklus: Naturheilkunde und Komplementärmedizin bei chronisch entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen

Zusammenfassung

Unter chronisch entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen (CED) versteht man rezidivierende oder kontinuierliche entzündliche Erkrankungen des Darms. Die beiden häufigsten Vertreter sind Colitis ulcerosa und Morbus Crohn. Viele CED-Patienten wenden komplementäre Heilmethoden an, weil sie mit der konventionellen Therapie oder ihren Ergebnissen nicht zufrieden sind.

Der Forschungszyklus „Naturheilkunde und Komplementärmedizin bei chronisch entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen” widmete sich daher folgenden Fragestellungen: Wie viele CED-Patienten verwenden alternative Therapieverfahren? Welche Effekte hat die naturheilkundliche Ordnungstherapie bei Patienten mit Colitis ulcerosa?

Abstract

Recurrent or continuous inflammatory diseases of the intestine are called chronic inflammatory intestinal diseases (CIID). The two most common representatives are ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Many patients suffering from CIID use complementary therapies, because they are not satisfied with the conventional therapy or its results.

The research cycle „Naturopathy and Complementary Medicine in the Case of Chronic Intestinal Diseases” addresses the following questions: How many CIID patients use alternative therapies? What are the effects of the naturopathic regulative therapy on patients with ulcerative colitis?
