Significance

Palladium nanoparticles (Æ = 30-40 nm) supported on aminopropyl-functionalized clay was prepared and applied to the Heck and Suzuki reactions of aryl/heteroaryl iodides and bro-mides under solvent-free conditions. This catalyst was reused nine times while increasing of the reaction time was inevitable to complete the Mizoroki-Heck reaction (1st run: 25 min, 10th run: 120 min).
