Stellt man ein spontanes und selbstgesteuertes Schieben dem forcierten und angeleiteten Power-Pressen gegenüber, zeigt sich deutlich, dass beide Methoden unterschiedliche Auswirkungen auf Mutter und Kind haben. Dabei ist das Schieben dem Power-Pressen überlegen.
