Therapie des shuntassozierten Stealsyndroms I – Distales und proximales Shuntvenenbanding

Beim shuntassoziierten Stealsyndrom (SASS) des High-flow-Shunts ist das geschlossene, exakt durchmesserjustierte und intraoperativ flusskontrollierte distale oder proximale Shuntvenenbanding eine wenig aufwendige, einfache und effektive Therapieoption. Sie verbaut keine weiteren Maßnahmen und auch bei einer später notwendigen Revision führt sie regelhaft nicht zu einem Verlust von Shuntvenenlänge.

Concerning the vascular-access-associated steal syndrome in the high flow av-shunt, the closed, diameter-adjusted and intraoperatively flow-controlled distal or proximal shunt vein banding is a very simple and effective therapeutic option. It does not block other interventions and if a revision later on is necessary, there is no loss of vein length.
