Synthesis, Antioxidant and Anti-inflammatory Activity of Novel Arylacetic and Aryl-hydroxamic Acids

Summary

Four new aryl-acetic acids and the corresponding hydroxamic acids were synthesized. These compounds showed interesting interaction with the free radical 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH), scavenging activity on ·OH, inhibition of soybean lipoxygenase and a significant inhibition of carrageenin induced paw edema in rats (44.1−70.9 %) at a concentration of 0.01 mmol/100g.

Synthese sowie antioxydierende und anti-inflammatorische Aktivität neuer Arylessigsäuren und Hydroxaminsäuren

In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden neue Arylessigsäuren und Hydroxaminsäuren dargestellt. Die Verbindungen zeigten Wechselwirkung mit dem stabilen freien Radikal 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), Hydroxylradikalfänger-Aktivität sowie Hemmwirkung auf die Lipoxygenase der Sojabohne. Sie zeigten außerdem signifikante Hemmwirkung bei Entzündungen (44.1−70.9 %).
